Comments and input on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are not considered formal public comment for the purposes of Periodic Review.  Periodic Review is a substantial evaluation and revision of a local Comprehensive Plan, the purpose of which is to ensure that a city’s Comprehensive Plan is up-to-date and responsive to local, regional and state conditions and complies with the Statewide Planning Goals. If you would like to submit a formal comment for Periodic Review, please email: pdxplan@portlandoregon.gov and provide your first and last name, address and a contact phone number. 

The Comprehensive Plan will be one of the plans used to carry out the strategy outlined in the Portland Plan. Comments and input on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter will be generally considered as the Portland Plan strategy is developed.

The Portland Plan Facebook (www.facebook.com/pdxplan) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/pdxplan) sites are monitored by the City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability and inappropriate/objectionable postings are deleted. Complaints and alerts from users about posts or comments will be reviewed for content violations. If reported posts are found to be objectionable or inappropriate, they will be deleted by City of Portland administrators.
