* Met with Mayor Adams for regular monthly check-in. Discussed City budget, graffiti, baseball in Lents, compensation and schedules for City employees, and Resolution to the FCC
* Meeting with Mark Bello, City Of Portland Professional Employees union, regarding Wellness program
* Meeting with Anna Kanwit of Human Resources Department and others regarding Wellness program
* Visited Lents Neighborhood Association meeting, talked about graffiti and Office of Healthy Working Rivers, and listened to comments on baseball and urban renewal
* City Council hearings Wednesday morning and afternoon, and Thursday afternoon
* Lobbied in Salem at House Revenue Committee on Healthy Kids funding, and on not raiding the 911 state funds
* Metro Policy Advisory Committee meeting - unanimous recommendation to Metro Council to renew the Construction Excise Tax on most new development to help pay for planning that results in more new development
* Wellness Committee meeting
* Monthly check-in meetings with Commissioner Fish
* Oregon League of Minority Voters dinner, sat with delightful US Bank employees
* How to do Participatory Budget Meetings, Matt Leighninger and Ed Weeks (out-of-town experts)
* Meeting with Alan Horton, Managing Director, The Freshwater Trust, regarding "Streambank" software program that helps get grant projects funded and completed faster
* Youth in Civic Engagement kick-off event in City Hall - talked with several young people with ideas on how to make City government better
* Jefferson High School Centennial dinner
* Portland Rose Festival Pretty in Pink event (yes, I went in pink). Talked with Sr. Romero, Mexican Consul to Portland
* Laurelhurst Neighborhood Association Spring Cleanup
* Meeting with Nancy Chapin, auction winner and Neighborhood Business Association leader, and Jean Baker, President of the Association of Portland Neighborhood Business Associations
* Pride NW community Mixer - talked with Ed Garren, Debra Porta, and others
* Waterfront Organizations of Oregon (WOOOINC) Annual Dinner, gave speech
* Starlight Parade, walked with Mayor Adams at the invitation of the Royal Rosarians. So fun!
