| Gilbert HydroPark
Gilbert HydroPark is located in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood at 13803 SE Center Street in Portland, Oregon. This pocket park has several amenities, including an ADA accessible wood chip walking path that circles the park. Several benches give places to relax, and shaded picnic tables provide a community gathering place. Doggy stations are also available for dog walkers to help clean up after pets. The perimeter of the park is lined with boulders from the Bull Run watershed.
Neighbors from the Powellhurst-Gilbert Neighborhood Association are currently seeking funding for a community garden to be created in the northwest corner of Gilbert HydroPark. Once funding has been secured, the Portland Water Bureau and Portland Parks and Recreation will develop a cooperative agreement to help develop this important community resources.
Please enjoy this neighborhood open space!
