| Texas HydroPark
Texas HydroPark was the first completed HydroPark, and opened on October 8th, 2006. Located at 3109 SW Texas Street in the Multnomah neighborhood. Bordered by majestic cedar and fir trees, Texas HydroPark embraces neighbors and transports them to an environment rich in tranquility.
To create Portland's first "HydroPark," a cyclone fence that had kept neighbors out of this public property was removed and several site improvements were made with the input of community members. This small pocket park is now a park where neighbors can stroll with a leashed dog or relax amongst the native plants on a bench.

History & Tank Information Texas Tank was first built in 1947 by the Home Water Bureau and was inherited by the Portland Water Bureau in 1952. The tank has a 615,000 gallon capacity, and operates in the Burlingame Service Area, which is supplied by the Fulton and Carolina pump stations through the Burlingame and Westwood tanks. While the tank does supply the local service area, it is also supplies several wholesale water customers. The BSA supplies approximately 7,816 retail service connections with a total distribution storage capacity of 4.48 MG. The following wholesalers also receive their supply through the BSA and account for approximately 8,055 service connections: City of Tigard, Lake Grove Water District, and part of the Tualatin Valley Water District (180 service connections). Particularly due to these wholesale connections, this is a key water service facility.
