San Franciscco's water utility, in cooperation with other regional utilities, has launched a new "water saving heroes" campaign.

One hero featured in the campaign is Jackie Wong who turns off the water while brushing her teeth.

Simple things matter. In summer water consumption in Portland's system nearly doubles due to outdoor watering. Take a look at outdoor tips that make a big difference.
