Project planning, design and construction is one area where can realize the most change in the walking environment. The City’s Pedestrian Master Plan was adopted in 1998 and is a guide to pedestrian policies, projects and priorities for the City. Portions of the pedestrian master plan will be incorporated in the updated Transportation System Plan.
