Registration is open for the Bicycle Transportation Alliance's 2009 Bike Commute Challenge, the friendly competition between workplaces to see who can to bike more during the month of September. Here are some details:

  • Participation is free, and everyone is welcome to compete and quality for great prize drawings.
  • The Bike Commute Challenge website has great resources for new and experienced bike commuters. Or better yet, contact Stephanie Noll at the BTA to schedule a free lunch hour Bike Commuting 101 at your workplace: 503-226-0676 x23 or stephanie@bta4bikes.org
  • If you're interested in promoting bike commuting at your workplace, the BTA also invites you to join new and seasoned Bike Commute Challenge team captains at a kick-off Happy Hour at the SE Lucky Lab on August 26.
