 In the week preceding the tenth anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, those who lost their lives in New York, the Pentagon, and Pennsylvania will be honored as their names will be read at Portland City Hall.  

“September 11, 2001, was a tragic day for our nation. The events of that day have touched all of us in so many ways. It is important to remember those who lost their lives,” said Commissioner Dan Saltzman who is organizing the name reading.
