Portland Plan Inspiring Communities Series

In fall 2010, Portlanders attended the Inspiring Communities Series and learned best practices from national and international experts on how other cities are taking action on economic development, community health, education and equity, as well as how to create complete communities and make the most of our natural systems.

Each of the five events featured not only a keynote speaker(s) but also a panel of local experts, who engaged in post-presentation discussions with the speakers and answered questions from the audience. The events were well attended, with standing room only at most of them.
