Special guests featured at Beaumont Middle School workshop for Portland Plan Phase II - May 6, 2010

Portland Public Schools Superintendent Carole Smith welcomed the crowd at Beaumont Middle School on Thursday, May 29, and introduced Principal Elizabeth Casson-Taylor to the crowd of Portlanders. Neisha Saxena, attorney from Disability Rights Oregon, spoke about universal design during the equity presentation (http://www.disabilityrightsoregon.org/). Debbie Bischoff (NE District Liaison) and Marty Stockton raffled off a Pastini Pastaria gift certificate, Urban Growth Bounty 2010 class, Chinook Book and PP t-shirts. Recesstime Dodgeball was active in the gym next door, and some of the players filled out the Phase II survey before and after games.
