Portland Plan Fair at De La Salle goes "south of the border" - March 11, 2011

Last Thursday night at De La Salle North Catholic High School, the Portland Plan Fair had a decidedly Latin flair; the food, music and participants all reflected Portland's growing Latino population. Bilingual staff and interpreters were on hand to accommodate Spanish speakers and include them in the process of developing the Portland Plan. Representatives from the Mexican Consulate were also there, enjoying the energy and excitement of the event.

This round of Portland Plan outreach is about sharing the draft strategies for Education, Economic Prosperity & Affordability, Healthy Connected Neighborhoods, as well as an Equity Initiative. For more information about the strategies and the initiative in Spanish language, please click on the brochure below.
