Some picnic areas can be reserved in half-day sessions: mornings, 8:00am-1:30pm, and afternoons, 2:30-9:00pm. Both sessions may be booked on one permit by paying the all-day fee. At all other reserved picnic areas, your picnic reservation is for all day. Some reservations may require a park supervisor's approval. Payment of the Application/Processing Fee does not guarantee that a permit will be approved. If a request is denied, your Application/Processing Fee is non-refundable.
Reservations may be made by mail or FAX (503-823-2515) beginning the third Monday of February. Walk-in and phone-in reservations (503-823-2525), using a valid Visa or MasterCard, will be accepted the first Monday in March. This includes both standard picnic as well as Special Use reservations. Please note that Special Use applications must be made a minimum of ten (10) working days in advance of use to avoid paying a late fee.
If you would like to use a ballfield in conjunction with your picnic be sure to reserve it at the same time you make your picnic reservation. Because league play takes precedence over picnic use, only a limited number of fields are available during the season.
