Forest Park Single Track Cycling

Forest Park Forest Park Forest Park

Portland Parks & Recreation is committed to providing a wide variety of high quality recreation services and opportunities for all residents. As part of this commitment, we are convening a group of interested stakeholders to address the need for single track cycling opportunities within Forest Park, following the policies and procedures adopted in the 1995 Forest Park Natural Resources Management Plan.

Forest Park Off-Road Cycling Advisory Committee

November 19, 5:00–7:00 PM

City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Avenue, 3rd Floor - Rose Room

Agenda

Advisory Committee

A key challenge for PP&R is to meet the continually expanding and changing needs of Portlanders. Because Forest Park is a finite and unique asset for all residents, the advisory committee is comprised of a broad representation of stakeholders. Using the recently adopted Trail Design Guidelines for Trail Type G-Mountain Biking, the committee members will:

  • Develop a common language for single track and trail development.
  • Set a goal for short-term single track cycling opportunities in Forest Park.
