Historical Information
The seating wall near the playground was crafted by Portland artist Anne Storrs in 2000. The design of the Buckeye Bench was inspired by the Sweet buckeye tree that grows in the park. The cast forms resemble three views of the tree's leaves - a complete leaf, a close-up, and an even closer view of the leaves' ends.
