Public Involvement Advisory Council (PIAC) meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month* from 5:30 to 8 PM. Meetings are held at Portland City Hall, 1221 SW 4th Ave. In general, PIAC meets as a large group for half of the meeting and moves into small group meetings for the other half of the meeting.  For more information, contact Afifa Ahmed-Shafi at afifa.ahmed-shafi@portlandoregon.gov or 503-823-5202.

 

*In August and September, we will meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, from 5:30-8:00 pm.

6:15 Small Group Meetings (held concurrently in different meeting rooms in City Hall)

  • Comp Plan Group: Working on the rewrite of the Public Involvement Section in the Comprehensive Plan
  • Budget Advisory Committees Group: Supporting and evaluating the implementation of the newly adopted City PI guidelines for bureau's budget advisory committees.
  • Annual State of Public Involvement Report & Evaluation (ASPIRE) Group: Evaluating and preparing a report on the baseline assessment results of city bureaus.
