The Commission manages convention, exhibition, and performing arts facilities, including the Oregon Convention Center (OCC), the Portland Center for the Performing Arts (PCPA), and the Portland Metropolitan Exposition Center (Expo Center). These venues attract over two million visitors annually to international, national, and regional events that contribute to the livability of this region.

 

MERC is a seven-member public commission of Metro consisting of business and civic leaders who share a commitment to promoting the metropolitan region as a visitor destination and protecting the public investment in these important regional facility assets it manages on behalf of the region's citizens.
