TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Street improvement closes lanes on NW Skyline Boulevard beginning February 28
(PORTLAND, Ore.) – The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that street improvements will require intermittent lane closures on Northwest Skyline Boulevard between Northwest Germantown Road and Northwest Cornell Road for two weeks beginning Thursday, February 28, through Wednesday, March 13, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. The public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously, observe all lane closures and directions by flaggers, and use alternate routes if possible.
Traffic will be limited to one direction at a time in the construction zone with flaggers. The lane closures are necessary to remove and replace both the base and the surface layers of isolated sections of the road to stabilize the foundation of the road and prevent potholes and other surface distress.
This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change.
