Grant funds available for watershed projects
The Bureau of Environmental Services is inviting proposals for community-based projects that benefit neighborhoods and improve watershed health in the City of Portland. The Community Watershed Stewardship Program (CWSP) provides grants of up to $10,000 subject to 2013-2014 budget approval. Applications are due by Friday, March 29, 2013 at 4:00 p.m.
The program funds projects that include neighborhood safety, health and livability; youth leadership and skills development; community gardens and green spaces; art and education; cleanup and restoration; and stormwater management.
