TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Street improvement closes lanes on NE Killingsworth Street beginning Nov. 5
(PORTLAND, Ore.) – The City of Portland Bureau of Transportation advises the traveling public that a westbound lane closure will be necessary on Northeast Killingsworth Street between Northeast Rodney Avenue and Northeast Cleveland Avenue beginning Monday, November 5, through Wednesday, November 14, all hours and all days. The closure is necessary to remove old trolley tracks and repair the asphalt surface. The public is advised to expect delays, travel cautiously and observe all work zone signage.
A detour will be in effect to accomplish this work. Westbound traffic on NE Killingsworth Street will be detoured onto NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, north to NE Ainsworth Street, west to N Vancouver Avenue, then south back to N Killingsworth Street.
Local access will be provided to residents and businesses. Both sidewalks will be kept open.
This work is weather-dependent, and the schedule may change.
