PSU University Studies’ Senior Capstone Program

Partnership opportunity
|
Community organization partners can work with a class of 16 undergraduate students for a community-benefitting, ten-week-long project (fall, winter, spring or summer term).
|

|
Marketing plan development; grant-writing; tutoring; asset mapping.
|
|
What PSU offers
|
If a professor choose your project, your organization will receive:
- A team of knowledgeable junior & senior undergraduates
- Regular communication, updates from the student team
- A final product in line with your organization’s mission and matches community interest
|
|
What agency must offer
|
To ensure a successful project, agency partners must provide:
- Feasible project goals aligned with organizational mission
- A tentative, general implementation plan for project
- One primary agency representative for the duration of the project
- Availability to give feedback to students throughout the term
- On-going communication with the faculty throughout the term

|
Send project goals, tentative implementation plan & contact information (approx. 1-3 paragraphs) to Dr. Seanna Kerrigan, kerrigans@pdx.edu.
