PSU University Studies’ Senior Capstone Program

Partnership opportunity

Community organization partners can work with a class of 16 undergraduate students for a community-benefitting, ten-week-long project (fall, winter, spring or summer term).

 

Sample projects

Marketing plan development; grant-writing; tutoring; asset mapping.

 

What PSU offers

If a professor choose your project, your organization will receive:

  • A team of knowledgeable junior & senior undergraduates
  • Regular communication, updates from the student team
  • A final product in line with your organization’s mission and matches community interest

 

What agency must offer

To ensure a successful project, agency partners must provide:

  • Feasible project goals aligned with organizational mission
  • A tentative, general implementation plan for project
  • One primary agency representative for the duration of the project
  • Availability to give feedback to students throughout the term
  • On-going communication with the faculty throughout the term
