Registering with the City is easy!

  1. Begin by logging on to our website at: http://cityofportland.ebidsystems.com/vendor/vendorEform.asp

  2. Click on First Time User Registration (see the left column of web page).

  3. Enter pertinent information into the appropriate fields. Please note: the way you enter the Company Name field should be consistent in format and spelling with all other city applications you file for your business.

  4. Are you a state certified vendor? If you are unsure, the Oregon State certified link provided here on the form will bring up the OMWESB Certified Firm(s) Information Main Search Page. If you are a state certified vendor, mark the "yes" field and enter your Oregon State OMWESB Certification Number in the next field.

  5. Think of a vendor identification of at least four characters, for your business. You may consider using something that is easy for you and selected staff to remember.

  6. Your password must be at least 4 characters, and entered twice for verification purposes. This information should only be shared with appropriate staff.

  7. Click on the box labeled "Next". Please wait to confirm your vendor registration.

  8. If all the information displayed is correct, click on the box labeled "Next." If not, click on the box labeled "Back" and make your corrections.

  9. Indicate your vendor classification(s). (Notices of bid/proposal opportunities sent to your company are matched with the selections you make here.)

  10. Confirm your vendor class selections.

  11. Click the box labeled "Submit."

  12. You're done! A confirmation of your registration will be sent to the email address that you provided on the form.
