Facilities Services welcomes you to share in our Mission and Vision. Our view of facilities construction and maintenance go beyond the day-to-day and into the sustainable future of our City and the environment.
MISSION
To be leaders in the planning, constructing, redeveloping, and operation of public facilities that are efficient, cost-effective, and well maintained. We are committed to building and maintaining buildings that contribute to Portland's civic character and make Portland a better place to live and work.
VISION
Through public buildings, we demonstrate the City's commitment to its past, present, and future. Our vision is to take a leadership role in developing and maintaining buildings that work well and last. Our buildings add to the comfort and beauty of Portland's built environment. Through our efforts we make our city a better place to live. By developing quality workplaces for City employees, we increase the usefulness of City programs. By participating in cooperative ventures, we assist private and non-profit organizations create and revitalize Portland neighborhoods.
