Welcome to the Revenue Bureau

Frank Dufay talks with a taxicab driver about the City's regulations and requirements.  The Regulatory Division of the Revenue Bureau issues licenses as well as manages the Private for Hire Transportation Safety Fund.

 Kirsten Klym and Leigh Wheeler review technical options for on-line payments.  Business Solutions leads business process and technology inprovements to provide efficient and reliable billing systems for the City.  Wendy Farrier assists a customer at the Revenue Bureau walk-in center at 111 SW Columbia ST, Suite #600. Angie Abudakar answers questions in the call center at 503-823-5157.

 

The Revenue Bureau is part of the Office of Management and Finance and resides within the Mayor's portfolio of bureaus. The Revenue Bureau provides consolidated revenue collection services and regulatory oversight. Revenue is collected from business license fees, business income taxes, regulatory permits and other fees. Staff also manage the City’s automated utility billing system. Revenue staff initiate improvements designed to ensure that fees and taxes are collected in an efficient and equitable manner, to ensure that certain activities are regulated for the safety of the public, to achieve high standards for customer service and to implement e-commerce solutions for managing transactions.
