Newly released plan targets natural resource improvement at Superfund site

On July 9, 2012 the Portland Harbor Natural Resource Trustee Council released a draft version of a Restoration Plan and Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for the Portland Harbor Superfund Site. The Plan identifies approaches to restore, rehabilitate, replace or acquire the equivalent of natural resources and services injured by the release of hazardous substances in Portland Harbor. Two public meetings—kid-friendly and with refreshments—are scheduled on the topic:
