Industry & Art: The River Runs Through Us

The Working Waterfront Coalition invites the public to a "must-see art exhibition and sale.

"Industry&Art: The Rivers Run Through Us is a uniquely beautiful glimpse into the people and industries of our working waterfront. Harbor industries contribute 40,000 jobs and over a billion dollars to our local economy.

"Industry&Art explores this dynamic, seldom-seen world through painting, sculpture, photography and more. It’s also a fundraiser to benefit job training and the environment.  A percentage of the sale of art and all proceeds from donations and activities go to the Working Waterfront Coalition Scholarship Fund at Portland Community College Foundation and West Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District."

Show Dates & Times: The exhibit runs Thursday, Sept. 22 through Sunday, Sept. 25:

  Thursday and Friday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday (family friendly): 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

FREE with a suggested donation of $5.

Location: "If you’ve never been to the shipyard prepare to be inspired. Nothing quite compares."
