The Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Project now has two cameras providing live footage of the construction of the light rail bridge, set to begin July 1, 2011.

On the west side of the Willamette River, a camera is positioned on the Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) Center for Health and Healing in South Waterfront. On the east side, a camera is on the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI).

The cameras not only provide live-coverage of the construction (as well as a highly-detailed eye on all things Willamette, like Ross Island bridge traffic, river boats, storms, and more), but offer both daily and weekly time-lapse videos (and, soon, monthly time-lapses).
