Connect Portland Project -- Broadband Technology Opportunity Program Grant (BTOP) - Public Computing Centers

The Connect Portland Project will expand broadband internet computer capacity with approximately 500 new desktop workstations, laptop computers and/or notebooks at new and expanded centers across Multnomah County. The centers will be located close to public transit and target populations (e.g., underserved residents) and will be in existing facilities with staff. The project will also include a robust curriculum of computer and job-related courses taught by volunteer trainers.
