Proof of Concept Network Testing RFP & Testing Results
In late 2006, the City of Portland issued an RFP seeking professional, technical, and engineering services to test MetroFi's proof of concept network. The link below is the RFP for this work:
As a result of this RFP, The City of Portland selected Uptown Services (www.uptownservices.com) as its vendor. Uptown Services produced a report in April 2007. The links below are for the executive summary and the full report:
City of Portland Certificate of Acceptance
On April 11, 2007, the City of Portland, through the Bureau of Technology Services, awarded MetroFi its Certificate of Acceptance for its proof of concept network. The link below is the signed certificate of acceptance.
City staff made this recommendation for the Certificate of Acceptance based on Uptown Services data, as well as BTS and MetroFi data. The document below provides the analysis and recommendation for this Certificate of Acceptance.
