Ask the Experts about World-Class Bikeways
Martha Roskowski, Director of Bikes Belong Foundation’s Green Lane Project, and a group of local transportation officials will discuss bikeway improvements from international and local perspectives.
Portland is one of six focus cities selected to be a part of the Green Lane Project, which works to support building world-class cycling networks. Roskowski will lead the discussion focusing on national and international developments in bicycling transportation and how Portland can learn from those advances.
The evening will include a short video about innovative bicycle infrastructure in Europe, shown “ cinema interruptus” style. You'll be able to pause the viewing at any point to ask the panel questions.
Presented by the Portland Bureau of Transportation, a community partner in shaping a livable city. We plan, build, manage and maintain an effective and safe transportation system that provides people and businesses access and mobility. We keep Portland moving.
