EcoDistrict Practitioners: Accelerating District-Scale Sustainability

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 30, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

How can urban development professionals successfully tackle the complex challenges that cities face? How can they work with public agencies, utilities, developers, and community stakeholders to create a workable sustainability implementation strategy?

This engaging workshop will introduce participants to EcoDistricts, a four-step process management framework to guide neighborhood sustainability projects. Public policymakers, urban designers, developers, and community-based organizations will be equipped with practical governance, engagement, assessment, and project development tools. Led by EcoDistricts movement leader Rob Bennett, this all day workshop will share best practices from his 14+ years of experience in sustainable development.
