Fruit Tree Pruning
A class on dormant pruning of apple trees at Howell Territorial Park. Taught by Metro arborist Howard Rasmussen, this informal, hands-on class goes over the hows and whys of winter pruning in the middle of Metro's apple orchard. Howard is a certified arborist with a bachelors of science in horticulture from Oregon State University. Free. Meet at the Bybee-Howell orchard. Bring pruners if you have them.
