PortlandOnline Subscriptions and Notifications

One of the exciting features of PortlandOnline is the ability for users to sign up for email based subscriptions to City news and information.   PortlandOnline subscriptions provide a one-stop location where individuals can choose to receive email based subscriptions to news and information from a wide variety of City services including:

• City News and Events
• Neighborhood News and Events
• Information from elected officials
• Water Bureau News and Information
• Updates on City code changes including Zoning code 
• Public Safety information from the Portland Fire Bureau
• and much more

Signing Up for PortlandOnline Notifications

To receive PortlandOnline subscriptions you will first need to create a PortlandOnline User Account.  To create a user account click on the "sign-in" link in the upper right hand corner of PortlandOnline. 

If you already have a PortlandOnline User Account you may choose your subscription options by clicking the "subscribe " link in the upper right hand corner of PortlandOnline.

PortlandOnline allows the user to select how they would like to receive subscriptions including a variety of email formats as well as notification options including daily, weekly and monthly digest options.

Note: Please temporarily disable any pop-up blocker software installed on your computer while you sign-up for PortlandOnline subscriptions.

When you click on the "subscribe" link, the Personalization Options menu will appear (see below).  In this window, you can select the subscriptions you wish to receive as well as the frequency and format in which to receive them.

To unsubscribe at any time from a subscription, click on the "subscribe" link and uncheck the notifications you no longer want to receive.

Click on the "Submit" button in the Personalization Options menu to save your changes.
