Week of 6/28/2010 - 7/4/2010
* Jury duty on 6/28. The computer selected my name for Grand Jury Duty, four weeks, but I was excused by the judge due to being needed for the quorum at Council hearings. I was very impressed how many citizens were willing to give up four weeks in summer, being paid only $25 per day, to be a crucial part of our justice system. The judge found 7 volunteers out of 25 in the pool without any difficulty.
