Commissioner Saltzman, Chief Sizer and I issued a Report on 4/8/10, outlining recommended actions to reduce community-police conflicts with people experiencing mental illnesses, and improve community mental health care. It's posted here.
Please read the report, and support funding for those strategies that need money.
