* Meeting with Elders in Action Executive Director Vicki Hersen, Civic Involvement Coordinator Tara Krugel, Commission Chair Lorraine Griffey and Vice-Chair Augusta Hayter, regarding their priority funding requests in the Budget
* Meeting with Deborah Stein of the Bureau of Planning & Sustainability, Office of Neighborhood Involvement Director Amalia Alarcon de Morris, and Afifa Ahmed-Shafi of the Office of Neighborhood Involvement, regarding equity and public involvement in the Portland Plan
* Meeting with Andrea Paluso of Family Forward Oregon and Senator Diane Rosenbaum, regarding paid family leave proposal for the 2011 Legislature and nationally
* Meeting with Marianne Martinez and Kaye Veldhuisen, constituents, regarding citizen involvement in decision-making on renaming 39th Avenue for Cesar E Chavez
* Quarterly meeting with Portland Police Chief Rosie Sizer
* Press conference with Chief Sizer and Commissioner Saltzman on the Report and Recommendations on improving community mental health care and interactions with police
* Meeting with Auditor Griffin-Valade, Linly Rees City Attorney's Office, and Andrew Carlstrom regarding Campaign Finance Fund referral
* Portland Business Journal's Women in Business Awards lunch
* Thirsters Gathering in NW Portland, McMenamin's on NW 23rd. Acting Multnomah County Chair Jeff Cogan and State Representative Lew Frederick also spoke.

Dinners at Home: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Wow, what a treat, four out of seven! More time to work on emails in the evenings, too.
