The purpose of the one day event is to destroy unused and potentially dangerous prescription drugs in a manner that raises awareness about the abuse of prescription drugs among teens, while protecting our waterways.
The Prescription Drug Turn In is sponsored by the Portland Police Bureau and the Office of Neighborhood Involvement Crime Prevention Program.
