*  Attended Oregonian Editorial Board interview with Mayor Adams, regarding North Reach Plan

* Meeting with Sallie Edwards, North Reach Plan manager, and Joe Zehnder, Principal Planner of the Bureau of Planning & Sustainability

* Meeting with Celeste Lewis and others re: Styrofoam Trays at Ainsworth School and other sustainability concerns in Portland Public Schools

* Alliance of Portland Neighborhood Business Associations Holiday Party at the Laurelhurst Club - great location, great people

* Visitors Development Board Meeting (watches over funds from visitor taxes used to entice more visitors to visit)

*Meeting with Ann Beier, Director of the Office of Healthy Working Rivers

* Columbia Corridor Association lunch meeting featuring Bill Wyatt, Port of Portland, guest speaker

* Meeting with Roy Jay of the African-American Chamber of Commerce regarding next week's ordinance on contracting interview panels

*  Meeting with Dave Woboril and  Tracy Reeve, City Attorney's office, regarding potential additional protections for people living outside

* Parkrose Business Association Holiday event at The Grotto - so fun!

*  Drop-in conversation with Mayor Adams regarding the budget

I did not do the following three events scheduled for Saturday, partly because of the freezing rain at my home at 650 feet elevation, and partly because I was wiped out after an even-busier-than-usual week:

* Jefferson High School Alumni Dinner and Awards

* Jobs with Justice Grinch Party

Sunday morning I attended the Hometown Heroes event at the Oregon Air National Guard Base, applauding awards for returning veterans.  I had to climb into the car through the hatchback and scrape off the ice before I could drive, but I figured that was the least I could do to thank the men and women who have given so much in defense of our country.
