* Field trip to Forest Grove to discuss Metro issues with current and past Mayors

* Portland Mercury/Bus Project Monthly Brewhaha panel on Public Campaign Financing

* Drop-in meeting with Commissioner Saltzman regarding Council vacation schedules and ongoing processes to address community concerns

* The Urban League of Portland's Annual Equal Opportunity Day Awards Dinner, pre-dinner socializing
* Commissioner Fish gave me a ride back from the Convention Center to the Newmark Theater, during which we caught up on current issues
* Spirit of Portland Awards
* Briefing by Transportation staff on three upcoming Street Vacations
* Drop-in meetings with Mayor Adams, Monday and Friday
* Native American Youth and Family Services annual dinner. Talked briefly with former Mayor Tom Potter regarding the Office of Human Relations, former Sustainabilty Commissioner Bob Wise regarding sustainability issues, and Portland Development Commissioner Bertha Ferran on various topics suited to dinner conversation.
I was planning to go to the Metro East Silver Ball and the Portland Youth Development Glass Ball on Saturday evening, but was out of town instead.
