* Quarterly meeting with Multnomah County Commissioner Jeff Cogan. Discussed various issues including the appointment of the successor to the State Senate seat being vacated by Senator Margaret Carter. I also volunteered my endorsement for Jeff in his re-election for the County Board.
* Briefing on development services colocation progress
* Briefing on Spirit of Portland awards
* Multnomah County Youth Commission swearing-in and Annual Report
* Monthly meeting with Ken Rust, Chief Administrative Officer
* Meeting with Commissioner Walker, Oregon Commission on Black Affairs, regarding racism related to African Americans in Portland and the USA
* Monthly meeting with Mayor Adams, discussed too many issues to list
* Speak with visiting Japanese executives taking a course at PSU's Hatfield School of Government event
* Monthly meeting with Dean Marriott, Environmental Services
* Spoke at One Web Day - Earth Day for the Web - in Pioneer Courthouse Square
* City Council meetings Wednesday morning and afternoon
* Metro Policy Advisory Committee meeting
* Meeting with Unite HERE Local 9 and SEUI leaders regarding labor contracts at sports facilities
* Citywide Wellness Committee meeting
* Meeting with Gary Alan Spanovich, Executive Director, Wholistic Peace Institute
* Monthly meeting with Commissioner Fish
* Spoke at the dedication of Rainwater Pavilion at Tanner Springs Park to Graham Clark, a City planner who I greatly admired when I served on the Portland Planning Commission
* Met with Leslie Carlson and Lillian Shirley, Portland Sustainability Commission
* Portland Association of Teachers picnic
* Forest Park Conservancy fundraiser event
* Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk, Sunday morning
* Walk to D'feet ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), later Sunday morning
* Spoke at PSU Muslim Students Association celebration of the end of Ramadan
Dinners at home: Monday (late, but it was my husband's birthday so we will celebrate once I get home) and Sunday. Already there's a trend post-Labor Day of many more evening engagements. I need to do something about that. I miss seeing my family.
