The Office of Neighborhood Involvement's Crime Prevention Program and the Portland Police Bureau have partnered for this one day event to raise awareness of the abuse of prescription drugs among teens. Don't leave your old, unused prescription medications in the medicine cabinet where others might find them, or you might use them after the expiration date.  And don't flush them into the water system, as they will contaminate our rivers. Turn them in anonymously at the Prescription Drug Turn In and they will be safely disposed of.

Prevention of misuse and pollution with prescription drugs starts at home, and it starts with you!
