* Quarterly meeting with Multnomah County Commissioner Jeff Cogan - discussed budgets and Healthy Kids Initiative implementation
* Meeting with Mark Rosenbaum, former chair of the Portland Development Commission - discussed Urban Renewal Districts and soccer/baseball
* Monthly meeting with Amalia Alarcon de Morris, Office of Neighborhood Involvement
* Monthly meeting with Susan Anderson, Bureau of Planning and Sustainability
* Meeting with Irene Konev, Community Outreach Coordinator/Auditor Independent Police Review Division (IPR) and newest member of the Citizen Review Committee, Rochelle Silver
* Quarterly meeting with Portland Business Alliance staff and members - discussed SAFE, Business Improvement District assessment on condos, Office of Healthy Working Rivers
* Meeting with ONI staff to plan strategy for graffiti abatement
* Attend Multnomah County Democrats GLBT Caucus meeting
* Met with staff from Commissioner Fish's office regarding parks contracts
* City Council hearings Wednesday morning and afternoon, and Thursday evening
* Tax Supervising Coordination Committee meeting on City Budget
* Walk of the Heroines event at PSU
* Accompanied sweetheart Steve taking photographs on the Eastbank Esplanade of The World cruise ship at sunset
* Bi-weekly meeting with David Olson, Cable Communications and Franchise Management
* Monthly meeting with Commissioner Leonard
* Two impromptu meetings with Mayor Adams, one on soccer, one on my proposal to freeze merit pay for non-represented employees
* Interview with Joe Fitzgibbon of the Oregonian, regarding Neighborhood Associations
* Phone interview with Hank Stern of Willamette Week. Left message with quote for Lisa Lednicer, the Oregonian, both regarding developments in soccer/baseball
* Spoke at New Leadership Oregon conference at PSU with Cyreena Boston and Meredith Wood Smith - one of my favorite events of the year, with two of my favorite leaders in Oregon politics
* Helped at Roosevelt High School cleanup. Talked with organizer Kevin Palau and Portland Public Schools representative Andre Jackson (regarding potential collaboration on graffiti abatement grants), and with the Oregonian's Steve Duin.
* Oxford-Cambridge alumni dinner
* Sunday Parkways in North Portland - Arbor Lodge Park
Dinners at home: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday (woo hoo!). My kids are all home from college for the summer now, so I plan to spend more time at home over the next two months.
