* Visited Southeast Uplift Board Meeting
* Council worksession on Milwaukie Light Rail
* Briefing on Disabled Task Force Report
* Meeting with Craig Boretz, Con-Way representative
* Monthly meeting with Commissoner Leonard
* The Gathering meeting of North Portland leaders, at New Columbia
* Council hearings Wednesday morning
* Walked in Rose Festival Junior Parade, thanks to Commissioner Leonard and Fire Bureau Battalion Chief Terry getting me there just in time, after a long City Council session
* Visited Choice Action Team meeting (NARAL ProChoice Oregon)
* Met with Greg Phillips, Executive Director of Portland Center Stage
* Met with Sister Cathie, Rose Haven
* Meeting with multiple stakeholders to preview plans for summer process to discuss services and regulations affecting people and businesses downtown and citywide
* Met with Julie Massa, Oregon Opportunity Network, and other housing advocates concerned about losing funding for affordable housing in Lents
* Met with David Olson and MaryBeth Henry, Cable and Franchise Office
* Met with William Weinstein, Center of Excellence
* Met with Metro Public Defender’s Office attorneys, Maite Uranga and Chris O’Connor, regarding Sidewalk Obstructions and anti-camping ordinances
* Met with Lisa Turley and Toni Sexton, Bureau of Emergency Communications
* Attended 50th Anniversary celebration of Portland-Sapporo sister city relationship. Met the Mayor of Sapporo.
* Met with Amy Simon, campaign consultant who helped me win the election with her expert analysis
* Dinner with Mark Lakeman, leader of City Repair and Village Building Convergence
* Opening speech at opening night of the 2009 Village Building Convergence
* Lead Grand Floral Walk, along the route before the Grand Floral Parade. Thanks to Latania and Jen for providing walk security for me.
* US Coastguard lunch, met multiple Admirals when introduced by Jim Lascher of the Rose Festival Association
* Attended Dickinson Park opening, celebrating the work of the Crestwood and Ashcreek neighborhoods and volunteer leader Darien Reese
* Grand Floral Ball, Royal Rosarians
* Sayonara Party for Sapporo delegation
* Older son Luke's Commencement ceremony from the Graduate School of Education. Great time to get a job in teaching!
