The media reported 250,000 came out for the Starlight Parade on Friday, May 29.  Many responded to my sign with smiles and yelling, "Hi, Amanda!" - so very fun.  Thanks to the Royal Rosarians who extended an invitation to everyone on the Council to walk with them.  I have two other assignments in the Rose Festival: representing the Council at the Junior Parade on Wednesday afternoon, and leading the Grand Floral Walk (walking the route an hour before the Grand Floral Parade) with Commissioner Fish.
