Portland Parks & Recreation is looking for volunteers to help complete an inventory of trees this summer.
PP&R is seeking volunteers in the Brooklyn, Richmond, and Woodstock neighborhoods to help to gather information on sizes, health, site conditions, and other tree facts.
PP&R’s Urban Forestry team, which manages and regulates over 1.2 million trees in our city, will use the information to create a neighborhood tree guide for the maintenance and growth of the neighborhoods’ tree canopies.
To sign up to volunteer visit the PP&R website.
