Last June Nick was proud to join Adidas, the Portland Timbers, and Hacienda CDC at the ground breaking ceremony for a new sports field in the Cully Neighborhood in NE Portland.

The project beautifully represents Hacienda's commitment to providing a continuum of services for the community.The field will keep kids involved in productive, positive, and physical activities.

Futsal is a variation of soccer played on a smaller field and mainly played indoors. Hacienda's field is funded by grants that support developing safe places for children to play.

The field is 98% complete. All that’s left is installation of the upper fencing and security doors. The grand opening will be this spring, and after that it is time to play!
