Neighborhood Small Grants Program now accepting grant proposals - October 8, 2012

This Fall, Portland's seven neighborhood district coalitions and the City's Office of Neighborhood Involvement are pleased to offer the Neighborhoods Small Grants Program for the seventh consecutive year.

Portland's neighborhood offices will be distributing approximately $94,000 to neighborhood and community organizations, with the goal of supporting projects that foster community connections, attract new and diverse participants and sustain those already involved.

In the past, organizations and neighborhood groups have secured Neighborhood Small Grants to construct community gardens. This could be the perfect opportunity for your organization to make a garden vision into a reality!

Grant applications and selection will be administered by the seven different neighborhood offices, for projects that will be enacted within their respective boundaries. Applications must be submitted directly to the district coalition office.
