Little Artists show their skills at the Multnomah Arts Center - October 8, 2012

By David Nguyen

Portland Parks & Recreation’s Multnomah Arts Center is offering a unique art based program for preschoolers!

Little Artists is one of-a-kind, high-quality, arts-focused early childhood education program for children ages 2, 3 and 4.  Preschoolers will receive guided instruction in the use of art materials and techniques in visual arts, dance, music, and theatre.

The program environment is designed to encourage each child’s individual style of creative expression.  We strongly believe that arts education is fundamental to the development of a healthy, happy, and engaged mind.

Throughout the year, the school will offer a host of dances including tap, African, ballet and modern. The children also will sing and act.
