Straight Talk: the Fluoride Debate

On Saturday, Nick was pleased to join KGW News Anchor Laurel Porter on Straight Talk, a local news show dedicated to hot topics and political news.
Nick enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the proposal to add fluoride to Portland's drinking water. Nick has shared his support for the proposal, which will ensure that all of our community's children have the same opportunity to start life with healthy teeth.
Thanks to fellow panelists Kylie Menagh-Johnson with the Everyone Deserves Healthy Teeth Coalition, Kim Kaminski with Oregon Citizens for Safe Drinking Water, and Rick North, founder and director of the Campaign for Safe Food for a lively debate.
Portland City Council will vote on an ordinance to add fluoride to Portland's drinking water on Wednesday, September 12.
