Nick will join 150 other policy makers tomorrow for the 8th Annual Voyage of the Visionaries bike ride.
The route will take riders along some of our best local trails, including the Marine Drive Multi-Use Pathway, I-205 Multi-Use Pathway, and the Springwater Corridor.
The goal of the ride is to get regional leaders talking about ways to connect our trail system and expand the Intertwine.
The 32-mile bike ride this year will focus on cycling facilities in East Portland. Nick will be a featured speaker at the Gateway Green stop, where he will talk about the project with Friends of Gateway Green Co-Chair Linda Robinson. He’ll also touch on other important projects including the Sullivans Gulch Trail plan, which will come before City Council next Wednesday.
Nick is looking forward to embarking on the ride, and having the opportunity to share our progress in East Portland.
