Portland Parks & Recreation Budget Update - May 10, 2012

We have taken time to look into the details of the Mayor's proposed budget, released on May 3.

This new information is now posted on the Portland Parks & Recreation Budget Website. This update provides more details about the differences between the budget PP&R requested and the Mayor's proposed budget.

In this difficult budget year, any proposed cuts will affect programs and services that Portlanders value.

The Mayor’s proposed budget is now under review by City Council, and the Council will vote to approve the budget on May 30, followed by a vote to adopt the budget on June 21.

The public has the opportunity to weigh in and provide public testimony Thursday, May 17 – details will be posted on the City’s Budget Calendar.
